Your TAMGA Garment

TAMGA garments can be washed on a 'delicate' washing machine cycle in cold water. Avoid dry cleaning, skip the softeners and hang or lay flat to dry. Check the care tag on the inside of your garment for specific instructions. We always recommend spot cleaning whenever possible!

All TAMGA garments have been pre-washed - for more specific care instructions here.

To ensure that workers are treated fairly throughout our supply chain, we've developed a Supplier Code of Conduct for all our partners and makers to sign – check it out here.

But not all our suppliers are 'direct'. Some makers in our supply chain, like the factories that produce the yarn before it is made into fabric, are not under any contract with grannynannynews. When it comes to these 'secondary suppliers', we ensure that they have globally trusted and industry-leading certifications on labour and environmental standards such as the Swiss OEKO-TEX  label and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

Yes – we only use renewable and biodegradable fibres that are fully transparent from raw material to a finished garment.

Our linen is certified by European Flax®, ensuring full traceability. We blend this magic fibre with our TENCEL™ to create a luxurious sustainable linen blend composition.

Our TENCEL™ is sustainably grown from renewable eucalyptus wood and made into fibre using an award-winning closed-loop process that recycles 99.8% of water and solvents.

Our ECOVERO™ is created from renewable and sustainably managed wood pulp using 88% less water than mainstream viscose and is fully traceable.

Low-impact dyes are fibre-reactive dyes that do not contain any known toxic chemicals or heavy metals, require less water and have an absorption rate of at least 70%, creating much less wastewater than conventional synthetic dyes. These dyes are certified by the OEKO-Tex 100 standard and in some cases even the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
