A few weeks back we took a short trip to New York City to attend a wedding on the Jersey Shore and spend some time in the big apple. The weather was rather rainy while we were there, but that didn't stop us from running around in TAMGA dresses and checking out our favourite neighbourhoods!
This was our first time on the Jersey Shore and we would definitely go back! While May is an 'off-season' for tourists, in the hot summer months this coastline is packed! Some of the spots we checked out and loved were the Barnegat lighthouse, Daymark Bar & Grill for fresh seafood and Mustache Bill's for a classic diner brunch!
After Jersey we made our way to Williamsburg where we had an air bnb for 3 nights. Brooklyn is such a diverse and happening neighborhood and there's so much to see and do. Walking across the Brooklyn bridge, grabbing lunch at Raman Setagaya or Pies n' Thighs, shopping at our favourite second-hand store Crossroads Trading, grabbing ice-cream at Milk and cocktails at Robert.
We also strolled through the Lower East Side grabbing a coffee at Roasting Plant Coffee (amazing java!) and headed into in Soho hopping around from shop to shop checking out fellow sustainable and ethical brands such as Patagonia, Industry Of All Nations and Gudron Sjoden. We eventually made our way to the East Village for wine and incredible pizza with old friends at Lil Frankies.
